Training for technical services of healthcare centres in Tarkett Academy

Healthcare facilities are specific environments and the flooring in them must meet a number of requirements: maximum hygiene, quick and easy maintenance, comfort and safety, air quality… A positive influence of the environment on everyone who works and spends time there is also important.

As a world leader in flooring and wall coverings production, Tarkett can also offer

vinyl, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) and linoleum for healthcare facilities – the products that perfectly meet all the mentioned requirements in various areas of healthcare centres.

In order for the quality of flooring solutions to be durable and guaranteed, appropriate installation and long-term suitable cleaning and maintenance are crucial. For that reason, on 25th September 2015 training was organised by Tarkett company in Tarkett Academy in Bačka Palanka for technical services staff employed in Belgrade healthcare facilities of Special Hospital 'Sveti Sava',  the Military Medical Academy, the Clinical Hospital Centre 'Dragiša Mišović', the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia and University Children's Hospital 'Tiršova'.

Lead by the idea that educated customers are satisfied customers and that the installation of professional flooring and wall coverings is a significant investment which needs to be protected, the staff of Tarkett Academy, in addition to delivering the theoretical part of the programme to the guests, also demonstrated examples and ways of handling floor coverings in all stages: before, during and after the installation.

This training is expected to help technical staff to adequately respond to challenges in everyday work, and to help healthcare facilities to get full value and quality from their investment.

At the same time, this gathering was also an opportunity for employees from different institutions to exchange experiences – the problems they encounter, the solutions, advice and ideas.

Tarkett intends to continue organising such training, not only for the remaining healthcare facilities in Belgrade, but also for those outside the capital.
